Quento Romania Strengthens Cybersecurity Dialogue at CIO Council Forum

Quento Romania participated in the CIO Council Cybersecurity Forum in Bucharest on 27 May, where tech leaders and cybersecurity experts gathered to explore the evolving threat landscape and the impact of emerging technologies on enterprise resilience.

This participation reflects Quento’s ongoing commitment to the Romanian market and the wider Balkan region, supporting organisations with innovative and secure ICT solutions that accelerate digital transformation and strengthen their security posture.

As part of the event, Charis Stengos, Managing Director of Quento Romania, delivered a keynote speech exploring the challenges posed by the rapid rise of autonomous AI systems. Drawing on Quento’s extensive cybersecurity portfolio, proven customer success across Europe, and its strategic partnership with ServiceNow, he emphasised that security leaders need to move beyond constant firefighting and adopt governance frameworks that foster trust, accountability, and long-term resilience.

The event also featured a panel discussion on “From Compliance to Resilience: Operationalising NIS2 & DORA”, with valuable contributions from Martin Pscheidl, Executive Enterprise Architect at ServiceNow.
